I saw this bit in your email version of this newsletter, but the website version omitted it.

"Oh, what the hell, here’s a tiny detail from my cover. Guess away!"

Did you get called out on it? Lol. Regardless, can't wait to learn what it is!

I’ve got a hunch. Is the Next Level book Firestorm?

Can’t wait for more Flash. Never been a big Flash fan, but ever since Absolute Flash started, I’ve been wanting to read more Flash.

Hi Jeff, huge fan since Animal Man, congrats on another stellar year. I have a question about JSA keeping my nerd brain awake at night. Who is inhabiting the helmet of Fate now?

In the Justice League Dark run Nabu famously left the helmet which was then inhabited by Hauhet. That plot was soon abandoned as the book got cancelled and writers since avoid mentioning who's there.

But the latest JSA volume it's implied that Kent Nelson was in the helmet? Or at least i read it as that when he explained to Khalid that helmet is not the only avenue he can use to communicate leading him to the amulet of Anubis. Thanks in advance.

I was told by editorial that all the past Fate's are in the helmet now. So, Nabu and Kent.

Thanks for all the wonderful stories! I have really enjoyed Minor Arcana and it got to be a quest where I collected every cover (except the one that was handed out at Boom) Besides it being a great book, all the different covers are incredible. I have been talking the book up on Discord (thru ECGCE) Have a great holiday season.

Thanks for all the great books in 2025! I can't wait for everything in 2026, I'm gonna guess that you're writing THE DEMON for Next Level. I can't wait for more Minor Arcana and to begin Crowbound.

Do you have any big convention plans for 2026? Would love to see you come to Western Canada!

Jeff Lemire's avatar

Not the Demon (but I do love that character too). Not a lot of conventions planned for next year. Would love to come back to wester Canada sometime soon.

Can’t wait for Phantom Road. I really think it’s some of your best work. And I hope it goes on long enough to tell the story you originally planned to tell!

Hi Jeff!

Will there be a hardcover edition of Phantom Road?

(It is by far my favorite series; Minor Arcana comes right after).

Nice greetings from Austria

Jeff Lemire's avatar

No HC plans for Phantom Road yet. I think we’ll need to get more of the series done first.

You rock Jeff! Thanks for all you do.

Loving your current work for DC with Ab Flash and JSA (my fave). Excited about what your new mystery project is. Agree with Glauber in the below comments.

What about JSA? I Hope the title continues with You writing It.

Jeff Lemire's avatar

Yes! JSA will continue. After Year One we have The Search For Spectre story.

So more Black Hammer, yeah?

Jeff Lemire's avatar

100%. Working on a new 12 issue series next year for a late 2026/2027 launch.

In 2025 I found your work through Black Hammer. Just like Anti-God, I Absolutely devoured it, the main series and the whole world! I also obsessed over Descender. Thank you for big compendiums! I was so thankful that after becoming a big JL fan my library had a lot of Lemire collections!!!

I was really thankful that after finishing Black Hammer, I had something monthly to look forward to, so the hopes for more BH really excites me.

The stories you write are all so incredibly unique, and they have inspired me to begin writing!
