Last week I wrote about my comic book series with the incredibly gifted artist, Gabriel Walta, PHANTOM ROAD and shared the first chapter with you for free.
This week I wanted to double down and share some of Gabriel’s cool process work on the series as well as…THE SECOND ISSUE FOR FREE!
Orders for PHANTOM ROAD VOL.1 are due Monday at your local comic shop and I really want to get people on board with this series. Gabriel and I plan on working on. this book for a long time, with a 50-issue run planned. So, spread the word Phantom Roadies!
Below are some of Gabriel’s earliest character designs and layouts as well as his preliminary work on the first cover. (You’ll notice one of the original title ideas for the series was HORRORMAN, we’ll still be using the title within the series in a different context).
