I am waiting for a big HC as well, have fallen so far behind my monthlies that I put a self-imposed halt on new issues. Hopefully caught up by next year/2025 to get in on the new books
It happens. The important thing is to recognize when it’s happening before it gets out of hand.
Personally I’m subbed to a few books I absolutely love. Most stuff I buy issue one and if I like it I wait for the trades. Most stuff reads better in chunks and that way I have the first issue.

Wasn't expecting to see so much art from you coming down the pipeline! It seems like most of your projects have been as writer in recent years. Out of curiosity, what has brought you back to drawing? Do you have a preference between the two?

I was curious if there is also an update on the "Descender" television series?
Unfortunately the last attempt at adaptation didn’t get anywhere.

I’ve been drawing more than writing for years now. The drawing just takes longer :)

I have been enjoying Fishflies. I’ll never look at the yearly appearance of them the same way again.
