As a Tarot enthusiast, I look forward to how you will weave the card images and meanings into the storylines, characters, and interactions. Loved issue 1 !

Just saw the solicits for this too, was really hoping the Tarot covers would be open-to-order as I’m sure a lot of people (myself included) will want to try and collect a set!

Either way, can’t wait. Jumped right to the top of my most anticipated list

dear jeff,

this looks and sounds amazing.

i love this: "If Black Hammer was my love letter to the superhero comics I grew up reading then Minor Arcana is my love letter to the classic Vertigo comics of my teenaged years, but all filtered through my own style. I really want to get back to doing a true ongoing series that focuses on the importance of single issues again."

thank you for doing what you're doing! excited to read it!

love

I can tell that the Bone Orchard Mythos took you to some very dark internal places, so I am happy you are getting the chance to do something healing. Like many, I see psychic tools like Tarot decks as much more about ways to attune oneself to inner truths, both of oneself and others--so, as much or more about psychology as the supernatural. In that sense, it is a pitch-perfect way to explore the visible and invisible aspects of small town life. Very much looking forward to this series, and hope it gets the long run it will need to unfold at a measured pace.

Thanks Dave. This is very much the book I needed to do right now. It has darkness, but ultimately it is about healing and community. And this one has a lot of humour too.

This looks fantastic, cannot wait for it!

And, is it safe to assume, you'll be in San Diego next month?

I will be in San Diego and doing LOTS of signings with BOOM and Dark Horse. And there will be some Minor Arcana SDCC exclusives announced soon. I'll post about my full SDCC itinerary here in the coming weeks.

That all sounds great! Thank you...for the books, the signings and the heads up (here) as well!

I'm eager to follow this series when it comes out. I was wondering, if you are working with this schedule of planning ahead, would you think about publishing it as a biweekly book? Or wouldn't it bother you to work through many years as those Vertigo series like Sandman or Shade?

The lead time I have will get eaten up really quickly once the book starts coming out. Writing, drawing and colouring the book myself would make bi-weekly impossible.

I’m extremely eager and looking forward to this new series! You had me at the title: Minor Arcana! Well, honestly you actually had me at drawn, colored and written by Jeff Lemire… but that goes without saying. Thank you for putting so much of your creative self into the world. ❤️
