Question about the GREEN ARROW script. The newsletter says it is #17 which I think was your first issue. The script PDF says #16 on the header page which I believe was Ann Nocenti's last issue. Is the number in the PDF incorrect and it is actually for #17?

can't wait to hear more about Green Arrow!

Like the others, I very much appreciate your candor about writing for the Big Two. I have heard a lot of stuff about it over the years, but it's another thing to hear it from someone who really knows. Animal Man introduced me to your work, which led me to Sweet Tooth, and everything else.

I notice you did not mention the JLU, and your work creating the Native superhero Equinox. At some point I would love to hear about how you got involved writing about Native/First Nations material, and what it is like to navigate that set of politics as a comics writer. (I am also thinking of the joint comic/music project you did about a boarding school escapee, whose name is escaping me right now. :-( )

Always love your From The Vault posts!! Thank you for being so candid about your experience and how you navigated a huge machine like DC.

Yay more Animal Man. I always wanted to read a Swamp Thing story by you and was so excited for Green Hell, I'm not sure if you addressed this already or are unable to but what happened to Swamp Thing Green Hell? I absolutely loved the first issue, was it cancelled? Did DC step in and meddle? I really hope to see the rest of it someday.

Jeff, thank you so much for these From the Vault posts, I love these deep dives into your career and I'm always surprised to learn things that might've been or to see what things you'll pull out of the woodwork for us. Can't wait to read these scripts!

Green Arrow was the book of yours that introduced me to you and it's easily among my favorites to this day, so looking forward to the post about that. Also hoping to hear more about your time at Valiant, as that's more stuff of yours that I really treasure.

All of that said, any chance we could hear more about some of those pitches? I'm a big Aquaman fan and, like most, adore Johns' New 52 run. I've also been a big proponent of what Jeff Parker came on to do afterward, I really think that stuff has been kind of slept on by the masses. I'd love to hear what ideas you had for the character and if anything from those ideas (or ideas from the other pitches) have made their way into any of your other work!

Hi Jeff

Full disclosure...I am a Boomer who has recently "got into" comics and graphic novels and am slowly working my way through the literal tonnes of content.

This is just a quick thank you for these posts (which I am using as reading guides) and for Black Hammer (which I had never heard of until I stumbled across 'Tales from the Farm'). I have just finished binge reading the first two volumes.

Looking forward to future posts.

Moon Knight was amazing and strange. I just recently read the Superboy run which I thought was a cool idea as well. Was that one that was supposed to be a shorter series?

Animal Man and the Rotworld crossover with Scott Snyder's Swamp Thing was EPIC. Also, having Matt Kindt included on Frankenstein, Agent of S.H.A.D.E was the trifecta for me. So much fun and creepy.

I enjoyed a lot of your Big 2 work, but your Superboy and Frankenstein are personal favorites.

Really enjoy learning about the New 52 stuff. I didn’t really get into DC (outside of the classic Batman stories) until a couple years ago when I read Morrison’s Animal Man, which lead to Swamp Thing, which lead to Constantine, which lead to New 52 Justice League Dark and now the vast majority of my collection is DC Dark Universe stuff haha.
