I’ve been so happy to see Malachi Ward’s art in Black Hammer books. I’m a fan of several of his self published comics and was pleasantly surprised when he showed up in the Black Hammer universe

Is the extra issue of Fishflies going to delay Royal City until 2025?

I bought Fishflies 1. I will wait for the second volume to read it because I read most of what you shared with us here when there was the paid version of this subscription. Also, got all Phantom Road (5 issues it seems ) and I should have read it and I definitely must read Bone Orchard: Tenement 1 and 2. Unfortunately, I am reading digital comics and the book I will buy when I can afford it, is the absolute Ascender. In the meantime, I will read Descender again and write an article for a Brazilian SF magazine I have created with a few friends and definitely will poke the publisher, Intrinseca, which only released volumes 1 and 2. I always check Amazon.com.br for new Jeff Lemire's comics.

I’m happy to keep buying the issues of Fishflies, but do you think it will ever be collected in a hardcover?

I think it will at some point, but I want to let these issues have a chance to live on their own for a while first.

I don’t know if you ever answer these but I was curious if we can expect phantom road #6 anytime soon? I have been buying the issues the day they come out such a compelling book and I feel like it’s flying super under the radar for some reason!

Phantom Road 6 is on the way! I will be doing a big Phantom Road post in about a week and I'll address this. I agree, the book is flying under the radar a bit. Sales have not been what we hoped. But I am very proud off the book and believe in it, so I want to try and promote it more.

Well the book is incredible feels almost like a freakier long-form Kojak or like almost like a more modern take on something like the x-files I will promote it as much as I can I’ve only bought the digital ones but I’ll buy physical copies too if that will help keep it going seriously my favorite new book super compelling
