I loved the original series but felt that the ending was abrupt and maybe rushed. When I heard it was coming back, my first question was playlists! Excited to know they are returning. I thoroughly enjoyed hearing a bit of your musical tastes and seeing where ours meet. We are the same age, but from different countries. So seeing the overlap and what may have passed me by, as a music snob, was quite a joy. Thanks for bringing it back Jeff. I don't shy away from telling anyone and everyone that you're my favorite writer.
I was bummed when the original Royal City ended. I am very glad to find out this is coming back. I always enjoy any series that has Jeff attached to it. But the ones I like the most are the ones that Jeff writes and draws. They seem more "important" in that Jeff is poring more of himself into them. This was especially true of Royal City. Bravo for bringing that story back to us!

What a coincidence! All of the original issues just arrived today via UPS from my comics seller. Reading Fishflies made me think that I needed this older series.
